Look for Cathy Dennis next year on a NEW PROJECT called Sexcassettes. The project is claimed to be unsigned although Simon Fuller is already involved. Fuller discovered her as the lead singer of D-Mob in the late eighties and consequently came to manage her solo career which she ended almost ten years ago. Since then Dennis has written a few great big pop hits: Toxic, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, and Behind These Hazel Eyes as well as recording vocals and keyboards on all of them. The girl can write, sing, play, and dance…so why hasn’t she taken back the spotlight? “Having to smile on cue has never sat very comfortably with me.” Plus Milli Vanilla was bothering her.
