Two gorgeous new offerings just in time for spring from designer Marc Jacobs, inspired by the world’s favorite Bajan teenage sensation. We are so jealous. First her legs are insured by Lloyd‘s for a million bucks and now this!? The bags themselves are wonderfully large and yet almost weightless looking. The cool putty colored leather is sprinkled with ice cold silver spray paint on top. Perhaps the most unexpected thing about these radiant accessories is how they actually feel like an homage to Rihanna, her island heritage, and her icy brown skin… ella, ella, ‘ey.
The answer is: pretty damn far. This campaign is banking on sex alone; tits, ass, and absolutely nothing in between. Terry Richardson takes a lot from Helmut Newton as he shoots oil slicked men and women wearing nothing but a bottle of Tom Ford’s limited edition fragrance for men, Black Orchid. If Ford’s cologne can deliver 1/100 of the decadence that Richardson’s iconic close up images have, you should probably stop by Neiman Marcus as soon as humanly possible. So, here’s my review: My first impression of Black Orchid was similar to having been grabbed by a pushy guy who, at first, I might pass off as an overly confident self important jerk with no respect for a woman’s personal space but after not too long I realize that I’m ultimately turned on by his persistence because, after all, I am irresistible.

Ok. I’m going to tell you my secret: Irregular Choice Shoes. A friend of mine found her first pair 4 years ago on her vacation in Tokyo. It’s not always easy, but I have bought a few pairs in the states since. There are several shops selling these strange but cute shoes in NY now, including the brand new Irregular Choice flagship store on Lafayette Street. The store carries the largest variety of Irregular Choice merchandise I’ve seen including a men’s line. The latest collection is for Heatherette. Currently an online exclusive, they will be in stores this fall.
